This Privacy Policy explains how PredixHub (“PredixHub”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data when you use the PredixHub Discord bot and the website at predixhub.xyz (together, the “Service”).
PredixHub is operated by a private individual based in Italy. We are the “data controller” for your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For any privacy request, contact us at predixhubinfo@gmail.com.
What changed in this version
Since the previous version (27 June 2026) we have added features that change how your data is used, so please re-read sections 2, 4 and 6 in particular:
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a prediction game. We do not ask you for your real name, address, phone number or date of birth, and we have no way to obtain them.
identify, guilds and guilds.members.read — used only to show you the servers where PredixHub is active, to confirm you are a member of the server whose game you are playing, and to know whether you are an administrator there. We never receive your Discord password or your email address from Discord.
These are entirely optional. If you skip them, nothing is stored.
You can edit or clear these at any time from your profile in the dashboard.
The Scouting feature lets you file a short report on a footballer — their name, club, age, position, an optional rating and free-text notes. This means you are submitting information about another person, who is often a young or underage player. Reports are stored with your user ID, are visible to every logged-in PredixHub user, and are never shown on our public pages. Please read the rules in section 8 of our Terms of Service before filing one.
If you use the optional “Ask AI” help feature, we process the text of the question you type and whether you are a player, a server admin or the platform owner. See section 6 for the full detail, including the transfer outside the EU that this involves.
We keep a small amount of aggregate data to understand whether the product is being used. We use no cookies and no third-party analytics for any of it, and we never build an advertising or behavioural profile.
There is no checkout on this website. You contact us, we agree the payment between us, and a person switches your server to Pro by hand. The payment itself happens entirely outside PredixHub, through whatever method we agree, and under that provider's own privacy policy — we only see whatever it shows us to confirm you paid. We never receive or store your card or bank details, and PredixHub stores nothing about a payment at all: there is no price, invoice, transaction or billing record anywhere in our database. All a purchase changes is a single flag that marks your server as licensed.
Most of it comes from you directly, or from Discord when you authorise the bot or log in. Two exceptions: your approximate country is derived from your IP address by us, and a scouting report about a player is written by another user, not by that player.
PredixHub is a social game, so some of your data is visible to other people by design. This is how it breaks down.
| Visible to | What |
|---|---|
| Only you | Your predictions on matches that have not kicked off yet, your notification settings, and your email correspondence with us. |
| Your Discord server | Your username, avatar, predictions (after kickoff), points, ranking and statistics in that server's game, and your results in that server's side games. |
| Every PredixHub player, worldwide | If you take part in the global Ranked ladder: your username, avatar, Ranked points, rank, tier and Ranked picks (after kickoff). Ranked is a single worldwide competition, so these are not limited to your own server. Your scouting reports and the profile card of any player are also visible to all logged-in users. |
| Anyone on the internet, without logging in | The public Ranked leaderboard and the Hall of Fame show the display name, rank, points and tier of top-placed players. The season champion page shows the winner's display name and season stats. If you generate a shareable Football ID card, everything on it is public to anyone with the link. These public surfaces never show your Discord avatar or your Discord ID — a monogram is used instead — and never show scouting reports. |
Your controls: you can leave the Ranked ladder, clear your Football ID (which removes the shareable card), and delete your scouting reports. A server admin can disable the public champion page for their server in Settings. You can also ask us to remove your name from any public page at any time.
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Run the game you asked to play: record predictions, score them, keep leaderboards, show the dashboard, run the side games and the card collection | Performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Show your name and results to other players, including on the global Ranked ladder — an inherent part of a social competition | Performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Publish top players on the public leaderboard, Hall of Fame and champion page | Legitimate interest in promoting the game, Art. 6(1)(f) — you may object at any time |
| Send you direct messages you have not turned off (reminders, results, Ranked recaps, club news) | Consent, Art. 6(1)(a) — withdrawable at any time in Settings |
| Send server owners occasional product announcements | Legitimate interest in informing administrators about the product they installed, Art. 6(1)(f) — opt out at any time |
| Answer your question through the AI assistant | Consent, Art. 6(1)(a) — given by choosing to use the feature |
| Host scouting reports written by users | Legitimate interest in operating a community feature, Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Operate, secure and debug the Service; prevent abuse and cheating (logs, rate limits) | Legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Measure usage in aggregate (visits, logins, approximate country) | Legitimate interest in understanding whether the product works, Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Manage a Pro licence | Performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Comply with legal obligations and defend legal claims | Legal obligation / legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) |
You are never obliged to give us data. But the Service cannot work without your Discord ID and your predictions, so refusing those means you cannot play.
PredixHub includes an optional help assistant. It appears as an “Ask AI” button in the help menu and behind the /ask command. It is entirely optional — if you never use it, none of this section applies to you.
This feature involves a transfer of data outside the EU — see the next section.
Your PredixHub account and game data are stored in a PostgreSQL database on a server located in Germany (European Union), operated on our behalf by a hosting provider, protected by reasonable technical and organisational measures.
One optional feature involves data leaving the European Economic Area (EEA): the AI help assistant. If you use it, your question is sent to Anthropic PBC in the United States (section 6). How to avoid it: don't use the feature. Nothing else about you leaves the EEA because of it, and the rest of the Service is unaffected.
That transfer relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the provider's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can request a copy of the safeguards by writing to us.
We host our own fonts. Many websites load their typefaces from Google Fonts, which makes your browser disclose your IP address to Google in the United States before you interact with the page at all. We deliberately do not: the fonts and icons used across predixhub.xyz and the dashboard are served from our own server in the EU.
Apart from the AI assistant, the only other case in which a third party sees your IP address is when your browser fetches an asset directly from a content delivery network — see section 9.
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account, game data, predictions, collection | For as long as you use the Service, and afterwards as part of a server's or season's historical record, unless you ask for deletion |
| Session cookie | 7 days, or until you log out |
| Server logs | A short period, normally no more than 30 days, unless needed to investigate an incident |
| Daily login records | 120 days, then deleted automatically |
| Aggregate visit counts | Indefinitely — these are aggregate totals per country and contain no personal data |
| AI assistant questions | Not stored by us; only aggregate usage and cost totals are kept |
| Scouting reports | Until you or the person concerned asks us to remove them |
| Announcement send log | Kept, so we never send you the same announcement twice |
When a season ends its standings are archived, not deleted: past seasons stay viewable, and your account-level data — collection, level, badges and profile — carries across. Archiving is a game mechanic, not a substitute for a deletion request; if you want your data removed, see section 10.
We never sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Note that football-data.org, our match data provider, supplies fixtures and results to us. We send it nothing about you.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it (“right to be forgotten”), restrict or object to its processing, withdraw consent at any time, and receive your data in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interest, you can object and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds to continue.
Some of these you can exercise yourself, immediately: turn off any category of direct message in Settings, clear your Football ID and DNA, delete your scouting reports, or leave the Ranked ladder.
We want to be precise about this, because a prediction game cannot simply erase a player from a finished competition without changing everyone else's results.
When you ask us to delete your data, we remove your identity: your username is replaced with “Former player” everywhere it is stored, your avatar is removed, and your Football ID and DNA profile are deleted outright. Your past predictions and points are kept in anonymised form, no longer linked to a name or a profile. We do this because the Ranked scoring is crowd-based — how many players picked an outcome determines what it pays — so removing historical predictions would retroactively change the scores of every other player in that round, and would corrupt completed seasons and standings. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest, and that of other players, in the integrity of a completed competition.
If you want the anonymised records removed as well, tell us and we will discuss what is possible for the seasons involved.
To exercise any right, email predixhubinfo@gmail.com. We reply within one month, as the law requires. We may need to confirm you control the Discord account in question. Exercising your rights is free; we may charge only for manifestly excessive or repeated requests.
If you appear in someone else's scouting report — or you act for the player concerned — write to us and we will remove it. You do not need a PredixHub account to make that request.
If you think we have handled your data wrongly, please tell us first — we would rather fix it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your own country of residence.
PredixHub follows Discord's minimum age requirement: you must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age Discord sets in your country, to use it. The Service is not directed to children below that age, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child under the applicable age has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Reports about young players. The Scouting feature can hold information about footballers who are minors. We treat this seriously: reports stay behind a login, are never published on our public pages, are limited to sporting information, and are removed on request from the player or anyone acting for them. Users who file reports must follow the rules in section 8 of the Terms.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), a database that is not exposed to the public internet, secrets kept out of the codebase, session cookies marked secure and same-site, protection against cross-site request forgery on login, constant-time comparison of internal tokens, and escaping of user-supplied content before it is displayed. No online service can promise perfect security. If a breach occurs that is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify the supervisory authority within 72 hours and inform you without undue delay, as required by Articles 33 and 34 GDPR.
We do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal effects for you, and we do not profile you for advertising. Points, ranks and tiers are calculated automatically, but they are the rules of a game, not decisions about you as a person.
We may update this Policy as the Service evolves. We will change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will give notice through the Service — for example in the dashboard or, where appropriate, by direct message. Continuing to use PredixHub after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
Questions or requests: predixhubinfo@gmail.com. We aim to reply within a few days, and always within the timeframes the law sets.
