Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the PredixHub Discord bot and the website predixhub.xyz (the “Service”), operated by a private individual based in Italy (“PredixHub”, “we”, “us”). By adding the bot to a Discord server, by using the bot, or by using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What PredixHub is — and is not

PredixHub is a free-to-play football prediction game for Discord communities. You predict the outcome and score of real matches, you earn points for how close you get, and you climb a leaderboard.

We do not offer betting advice, odds, or tips. Nothing in the Service should be used as a basis for placing a real bet anywhere else, and we accept no responsibility if you do.

2. Changes to the Service

PredixHub is under active development. We may add, change, restrict or remove features, and the Service may be interrupted for maintenance. Where a change materially reduces what you get, we will give reasonable notice through the Service.

Seasons archive, they do not erase. When a season ends, its final standings are frozen and kept, and the next season starts everyone from zero — that is how the competition works, not a deletion of your data. Past seasons stay viewable, and your account-level record — your card collection, level, badges and profile — carries across seasons.

We will not wipe your history arbitrarily. If a technical, security or legal reason ever forces us to reset data, we will give notice in advance and explain why. Where you have paid for Pro, a change or a reset will not shorten the licence period you paid for.

3. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 13 years old, or Discord's minimum age in your country if that is higher.
• You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. PredixHub runs on Discord, and losing your Discord account means losing access to PredixHub.
• You need no separate PredixHub account: you play through your Discord identity, and you log into the dashboard with Discord.
• One person, one account. Using more than one Discord account to play — to gain an advantage on any leaderboard, to earn extra pack credits, or to fill a squad or pool — is not allowed.
• You are responsible for what happens through your account.

4. How the game works, and corrections

• One prediction per match. A prediction you make counts towards every competition it is eligible for. Predictions lock at kickoff and cannot be changed afterwards.
• Two scoring systems exist side by side. Your server's championship scores on a fixed scale; the global Ranked ladder scores by crowd consensus, so a correct call that few others made is worth more. Both are described in the in-app guide.
• Results come from a third party (football-data.org) and can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. If a result is corrected upstream, or if we find a scoring error, we may recalculate points and standings, including after a round has been announced. We will not do so arbitrarily, and we will normally explain a correction that changes a published result.
• Rankings, tiers, badges and awards are provisional until a season is closed, and may change while a season is running.
• Server administrators choose which competitions their server runs, when matchdays are posted, and how their server's season is managed. Those are their decisions, not ours.

5. The global Ranked ladder

Ranked is a single worldwide competition that spans every participating server. Taking part is optional. If you take part:

• Your username, avatar, points, rank, tier and picks (after kickoff) are visible to players in other servers, and top placings may appear on our public, no-login pages. See the Privacy Policy.
• Rounds, seasons and their timing are set by us. We may add, postpone, void or re-score a round where a match is abandoned, rescheduled or wrongly reported.
• We may exclude a player from Ranked, reset their Ranked record, or void a result where we reasonably believe the rules in section 9 were broken.

6. Cards, credits, XP and other virtual items

PredixHub includes a card collection, pack credits, experience points, levels, badges, trophies and similar in-game items (“Virtual Items”).

• Virtual Items cannot be bought. There is no way to purchase credits, packs or cards with money, and Pro does not include any. Credits are earned only by playing — by making predictions and getting them right. Because nothing is ever staked and nothing can be bought, opening a pack is not a game of chance in any legal sense.
• Virtual Items have no monetary value. They are not property, not currency, and confer no ownership. They cannot be sold, exchanged, transferred, gifted or cashed out, whether inside the Service or outside it, and any attempt to do so is a breach of these Terms.
• We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Virtual Items within the Service, for as long as we offer them.
• We may change, rebalance, retire or withdraw Virtual Items and how they are earned, giving reasonable notice where the change is significant. We may reverse items obtained through a bug, an exploit or a breach of these Terms.
• You are not entitled to compensation or a refund for Virtual Items that are lost, reset or removed, or if the Service ends.

7. PredixHub Pro (paid features)

• Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features for a server, not for an individual. It is bought by someone acting for the server, normally an administrator, and every member of that server benefits from it.
• The free tier is fully playable: posting matchdays, predicting, leaderboards, live scoring, reminders, stats and the Ranked ladder are all free. Free servers can run one active competition at a time; Pro removes that limit and unlocks the additional modes described on predixhub.xyz.
• There is no checkout. You add the bot for free, you contact us, we agree the payment between us, and a person switches your server to Pro by hand — usually within a few hours. The price and what Pro includes are shown on predixhub.xyz and agreed with you before you pay.
• Consumer right of withdrawal (EU): if you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. Because Pro is switched on immediately, by asking us to activate it you request that provision begins at once and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the features have been fully delivered. Where withdrawal still applies, contact us at the email below.
• Refunds: if a paid feature does not work as described, contact us and we will help, including a refund where required by law. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.
• If a licence expires or is not renewed, Pro features stop being available. Data created while Pro was active is not deleted, but you may no longer be able to create new Pro content.

8. Content you submit

Some features let you write your own text: your Football ID (including the free-text “hot take”), and scouting reports on players. You remain responsible for what you submit.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute that content within the Service, for as long as you keep it there, solely in order to operate the Service. You keep any rights you have in it.

You must not submit content that:

• is defamatory, insulting, harassing, hateful, obscene or threatening;
• is false, or presents an opinion as if it were established fact;
• infringes anyone's rights, including copyright and trade marks;
• reveals personal information about another person — contact details, address, school, family circumstances, health, or anything unrelated to football;
• is unlawful in any other way.

We are not obliged to monitor user content, but we may review it and we may remove any content, without notice, if we reasonably believe it breaks these rules. If you see something that does, please report it to the address in section 17.

9. Acceptable use and fair play

You agree not to:

• cheat or manipulate scores, leaderboards, streaks, credits or awards in any way;
• use more than one account, or coordinate accounts, to gain an advantage;
• use bots, scripts, automation or any tool to place predictions or farm credits;
• exploit a bug rather than reporting it, or knowingly benefit from one;
• abuse, disrupt or overload the Service, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, licence checks or access controls;
• access data that is not yours, or attempt to reach our systems, database or internal API without authorisation;
• scrape, copy or redistribute data from the Service at scale;
• reverse engineer the Service, except where the law expressly allows it;
• use the Service unlawfully, or to harass anyone.

If you break these rules we may correct or void affected results, remove Virtual Items, restrict features, or suspend or terminate your access — proportionately to what happened. Where a whole server is involved, we may remove the bot from it. Please report security problems to us privately rather than publishing them.

10. The AI help assistant

The optional “Ask AI” feature answers questions about how PredixHub works. It is a convenience, and it can be incomplete or wrong. It is not advice of any kind, and it does not change these Terms, the Privacy Policy or the rules of the game — where it conflicts with them, they prevail. Do not type personal, confidential or sensitive information into it. Usage is capped per person per day. See section 6 of the Privacy Policy for how your question is processed.

11. Third-party services, data and trade marks

• PredixHub runs on Discord and depends on it. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Discord Inc.
• Match data comes from football-data.org and is subject to that provider's own terms and availability.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any football club, league, competition, federation or player. Club and competition names are used descriptively, to identify real fixtures. All trade marks belong to their respective owners.
• Club shields shown on collectible cards are generated graphics based on team colours, not official club badges.
• PredixHub's own name, logo, design and code remain ours. These Terms grant you no licence to them.

12. Availability and “as is”

We work to keep the Service running, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free operation, and without guaranteeing that predictions, results, points or standings are free of errors or delays. We may suspend, limit or discontinue the Service, or any feature, at any time. Where we plan to stop the Service altogether, we will give reasonable notice so you can retrieve what matters to you.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damage arising from your use of the Service, nor for lost points, lost Virtual Items, lost progression, unavailability, or errors in third-party match data. Where we are found liable in connection with a paid subscription, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under Italian and EU law.

14. Your data

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

15. Suspension, termination and changes

You can stop using the Service at any time: remove the bot from your server, stop playing, and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service.

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will update the date above, and for significant changes we will give notice through the Service. If you keep using PredixHub after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the Service.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence, and any dispute may be brought before the competent court of your place of residence.

Please contact us first — almost everything is quicker to resolve by email. If you are a consumer in Italy, you may also use an accredited out-of-court dispute resolution body.

17. General

• If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the invalid part is replaced by the closest valid equivalent.
• Not enforcing a right straight away does not mean we waive it.
• You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours if the Service changes hands, provided your rights are not reduced.
• These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Service.
• These Terms are written in English. A translation, if we provide one, is for convenience only.
