You never choose a mode when you predict. Every pick is scored by the global ladder and by your own server’s league — two rulebooks, one tap.
The world ladder
One global board that every registered server plays on. Rare correct calls pay the most — back every favourite and you stall; read the upset nobody saw and you climb. Seven tiers from Rookie to Icon, and one champion at the end of the season.
The house league
The same picks, tallied privately for your community on points everyone already understands. Crown a champion each season and keep the roll of honour.
Server vs server
Your server has a world rating.
Every member’s picks feed one number: where your community sits on the constructors board. It is the only football table where the whole server wins or loses together.
The average of your players’ per-round ratings, pulled toward the global mean so a lucky night in a five-person server can’t top the table. Three players minimum to appear at all.
The fewer of you predict, the harder the board pulls your server back to the middle — it won’t take a small sample’s word for it. Getting your channel playing is how you earn the right to be judged on your own football.
A player belongs to one server for the whole season. Nobody carries their points around five communities to inflate all of them.
Every server that registers for the ladder gets a row. Yours starts the day your third player predicts.
Who already plays

Every community playing the ranked league gets a page of its own words, its own numbers and its own invite — ordered by how much they play, never by how well. Bring yours and it is on there too.
The calendar
Season 1 kicks off on 21 August.
Two seasons, two clean windows. Everyone starts the season on zero, so the earlier you are in, the fewer points you are chasing.

The opening run: the domestic leagues from the first matchday, plus the Champions League group stage. Champion crowned on 31 December.

Starts the moment Season 1 ends, and runs through the second half of the campaign — the knockouts, the run-in and the final itself.

The fixture arrives
The next matchday posts itself in the channel you chose. Teams, kickoff time, and the buttons to answer with.
Everyone calls it
One tap for the winner, or the exact score for more points. Picks stay private and can be changed until kickoff — then they lock.
Points land on their own
The bot reads the real result and scores every prediction automatically, on both boards, then posts the recap with the matchday MVP.
Members never type a command. They tap the buttons on the post.
Fixtures post themselves, results score themselves, the table publishes itself.

What the bot can do
Eight permissions. No administrator rights.
This is the whole grant, exactly as Discord will show it to you — the least it needs to post a matchday and score it, and nothing that reaches your members or their conversations.
Never asked for
Two of the eight look bigger than they are. Manage Roles exists so the bot can create and hand out the optional leader and champion roles — and Discord only ever lets it touch roles below its own. Manage Channels is used for one thing: opening the private room where a Quiz Cup tie is played. Take either one away in your server settings if you don’t want that feature — everything else keeps working. Because Mention Everyone is never requested, the bot cannot ping your whole server even by accident: alerts go to a role you nominate, or to nobody.
